Bactrian camel
This is a two-humped or double humped camel and is native to the steppes of Central Asia. It is also known as the Mongolian or Bactrian camel.

The photo was taken in late summer, I guess in winter it will have a heavier coat of hair to keep warm. There were other enclosures, but nothing could be seen. The trouble is that many animals, like Tigers etc., are inside very high fences (fair enough) which means no photographs that I could take for this website except one, a Yak.

No more zoos for me.
