as it happens
Looked at clouds
August was underway and the daylight is quickly reducing as it normally does. You must understand the location of the British Isles, they are the same latitude as Hudson Bay and the southern part of Alaska. The only reason we do not have severe cold in winter is because of the Gulf Stream.
I went out for meander around on a Saturday morning. With a mind to take photo's at a high resolution and see what happens, normally I would zoom up on something.

The walk was the usual stuff and as I proceeded a large bush with bright flowers was seen, so I grabbed some shots. It is named Buddleia or the Butterfly Bush. A butterfly did land on it, but flew off as I raised my camera.

These trees look a bit like a pyramid, pointing toward the sky. I had not paid any attention to the sky previously.

Further on I looked at clouds and thought they were a bit like the Buddleia bush.

Thick bushland as I carried on.
