Buzzy thing
After making the decision to begin photgraphing wildlife, I realized the extent of it all. There are entomologists around and I've seen them taking photo's of the little things, but they only do that. Not wanting to limit myself, I went out for a short walk to give it a try and found bumble bees were the only creatures not flying around at light speed.
I have never taken a photograph of an insect before, this was a first. It took me over an hour in Photoshop to produce this and quite honestly I seriously doubt I shall even bother with taking photo's like this because of all the hassle. Maybe I did the shot wrong, I dunno, but the bright sun on the white flowers didn't help.
There are other small creatures around though, so will have to take it as it comes.
I went to the color balance and blued up the blur to make the thing stand out more.
