A backpack trick
Getting your backpack to hold things right can be an ongoing hassle. Stuff gets added, some things go because they've been replaced plus all those little bits and pieces need to be somewhere. If you run a blog while on the road or are a digital nomad, then there is all the paraphernalia needed for your laptop and/or camera. The list goes on.
I used to have two small black bags for my toiletry stuff and electronic pieces, but looking at it all I realized one larger bag would do the trick. Having to unpack these containers for airport security has proven to make a total mess out of things and took up way too long.
This saves me a lot of time. If I do have to take it out to viewed by the security, they can see what's inside. Below it is what I did to my laptop charger power cable, this fits in the bag with part of it bent, along with my charger and mouse.
The remaining contents are: clothing (rolled up in a bag), my camera, shorts, rain jacket (if I'm not wearing it) and liquids zip-lock bag. There are a few other things inside zip-lock bags which means nothing is loose and so far I have had no problems.
